Indications

This is a fully water soluble liquid that contains 2 active ingredients: Moxidectin and Praziquantel. Moxidectin is effective against round worm (Ascaridia spp.), Hair worm (Capillaria spp.) and any external parasties that feed off body fluids, including mites and hippoboscid (feather) flies. Moxidectin is effective against air sac mites (Sternostoma spp., Cytoidites spp.) Praziquantel is effective against tapeworm. Combining these two medications results in broad spectrum parasite control. Both drugs have wide safety margins in birds. They do not effect feather quality during moulting. Birds during treatment can be fed normally and the medications do not cause nausea or lead to vomiting. This medication SHOULD NOT be used during the breeding season with unfeathered chicks in the nest.

Dosage

For species such as finches and pigeons that drink predictable volumes this can be achieved by:

Dillute at the rate of 5 ml-10ml to 1 liter of drinking water and make available to the birds for 24 hours 

The solution should be made fresh prior to use and provided in a clean drinking vessel 

Remove all other sources of water.  

For species such as Parrots that drink inconsistently giving an effective dose is best achieved by:
